We are currently working with our client based in Aberdeen who is looking to recruit a Project Engineer to join their team on a permanent basis.  

The provision of technical support, with respect to the development of Hydraulic Services, SBT (Small Bore Tubing), FHA (Flexible Hose Assemblies) which provide our customers with sustainable integrity assurance and compliance, with relevant legislation, standards and industry guidelines.

Technical Duties

Implement technical processes and procedures with respect to SBT and Fluid Power & Control system tubing design, installation, flushing & testing/sampling and inspection services in line with Industry Standards and Guidelines

In line with Industry Standards and best practice, implement technical processes and procedures with respect to Hydraulic System operations, installation, commissioning and repair.

Supply technical input to work scope specification, durations, project plans and work packs for Hydraulic Services.

Liaise with Customer Focal points to ensure the pro-active management and delivery of the Services, in line with client contracts and individual project/work scopes

To analyze Hydraulic survey results, identify trends through statistical analysis and provide written reports with details of proposed alternative practices leading to improved operational safety and reliability performance

To prepare work packs for execution of Services in accordance with customer requirements and Company procedures.

Develop and maintain project schedule and evaluate, organize and prioritise workload within a schedule.

Identify and supply pro-active asset management proposals to clients in order that we are adding value to our existing services

Ensure client project/work scopes are completed in line with Company/Client Agreed procedures

Essential

HND Mechanical, Process, Instrumentation and/or Control discipline.

  • Hydraulic Systems or equivalent
  • Project Engineering qualification and/or experience

Desirable

Degree in Engineering discipline

  • Working towards or Chartered Status
