We have an opportunity for an experienced Commercial Coordinator to join our Global Services Oil Company client in Aberdeen on a contract basis for 6 months.

Position Function

 

The Opportunities Coordinatoris responsible and accountable for the opportunity management process from receipt to submission. Complying with global standards and guidelines and taking the lead throughout the lifecycle of designated tenders.

 

Minimum Requirements

 

    • 3 years’ experience in Oil & Gas supply chain role or relevant experience.

    • Degree in Engineering or Business Management or Finance is required or relevant experience.

    • Detailed understanding of Oil & Gas supply chain contracts

    • Experience of tender compilations

    • Experience of QHSE responses would be advantageous.

 

Key Functional Skills

 

    • Ideally of graduate calibre, with a proven track record in commercial leadership and contracts administration gained in the offshore services sector.

    • Demonstrate a proven track record in the pursuit of new business, management of customer relationships, tender/bid preparation and contract negotiations within the international market.

    • An experienced negotiator from a commercial deal making perspective. Must lead the commercial department to influence and win customer confidence.

    • A team player with drive and energy, prepared to personally lead contract pursuits associated with high value contracts and strategically important clients.

    • Self-starter with excellent analytical organisational, interpersonal and presentation skills. Relates instinctively to bigger picture issues and can apply commercial awareness at both strategic and operational levels.

    • First class organiser with commercial instincts associated with risk management.

      Responsibilities

    • Prepare and manage the sales opportunity process from cradle to grave, including critical review, analysis and reporting on tenders, MSA’s and executed contracts.

    • Review all pre-award commercial/contractual correspondence in relation to pricing and invoicing terms.

    • Prepare commercial revenue projection and summary prior to contract execution.

    • Play an active role in forecasting and budgeting.

    • Conduct a commercial review of contracts (prior to commencement) and ensure Stakeholders understand the contractual obligations, rights and objective and have the necessary information for proper handover and compliance.

    • Compile marketing materials and information.

    • Keeping bid & quote register up-to-date.

    • Any other duties that the Company deems suitable for you to carry out.
